Hi there! I’m Lily and I’m so glad you stopped by. I’ve been dreaming of creating a place to share all my recipes and ideas for the longest time and it’s finally happening!
I’m a first generation Polish-American, born and raised in Chicago. When I was a teenager, my parents decided to move to Krakow, Poland to give me a chance to absorb the culture, taste and history of my anscestors. If you have any Polish friends, then you probably know you should always show up on an empty stomach because chances are they won’t let you out without feeding you first!
While living in Europe, I had the amazing opportunity to travel and explore many different flavors and learn from wonderful cooks, my mom of course being my biggest inspiration!
I hope I can bring some new ideas to your table and share my passion with you. Once you try my recipes, make sure to leave feedback as I’d love to hear from you!

Where I got it from
I got it from my Mama! She shared the greatest gift with me… the love for bringing people together and the joy of feeding them with homemade goodies. When we moved to Poland, into an apartment much smaller than our US home, her first purchase was a table for twelve to make sure we had enough space to enjoy meals with friends and family.

Ryan – he’s my partner in crime! Somewhat of a picky eater, but always excited for the next new idea. Usually grumpy about the mess I make in the kitchen, but always willing to help clean it up. Always provides honest feedback from his fully American point of view.
Cookie Monsters
Lacey and Coley are always eager to peek into the kitchen and catch any carrots or blueberries magically falling off the counter! These two Morkie sisters are little retrieving maniacs who love long walks and car rides.
