Lemon Butter Garlic Green Beans

1 lb green beans
3 cloves garlic
3 tablespoon butter
2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
½ teaspoon lemon pepper
Directions
- Trim ends and place beans in a large skillet. Cover with water, sprinkle with salt and sugar and bring to a boil. Lower heat to medium high and simmer for 5-7 minutes until beans are softened.
- Drain water and return beans to skillet. Add butter and minced garlic. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Season with lemon pepper and add salt to taste.

Notes
- The beans can also be prepped ahead and finished off just before serving! Simply boil, dry and store them in the fridge until you’re ready to toss them into the pan and marry them with the butter, garlic and spices.
